Network Over 30 is a growing online community of business professionals, entrepreneurs, and business owners who are all over the age of 30. Our mission is to connect members with valuable resources, networking opportunities, and meaningful relationships to help them thrive in business and in life.
We are currently looking for a talented and organized Director of Event Planning & Management (Volunteer) to lead the strategy and logistics for our in-person and virtual events. If you have a passion for creating meaningful, well-executed experiences, this is the perfect opportunity to put your planning skills to work for a great cause.
About the Volunteer Role
As the Director of Event Planning & Management, you’ll take the lead on all event logistics—from idea to execution. You’ll coordinate with vendors, secure venues, and build seamless run-of-show timelines to ensure each event is a success. You’ll work alongside our team to create memorable experiences that bring our community together.
Time Commitment
3–6 hours per week (flexible; may increase during event weeks)
Key Responsibilities

Book venues, vendors, and A/V services for both in-person and virtual events

Develop detailed event timelines, run-of-show documents, and planning checklists

Coordinate closely with all internal departments and volunteers to ensure event success

Manage event logistics from pre-event setup to post-event wrap-up

Ensure all operations run smoothly, on time, and within budget
Qualifications

Experience in event planning, operations, or logistics (preferred but not required)

Excellent communication, organization, and multitasking skills

Calm under pressure and solution-oriented
